We are a family business and have been running The Stables since 2005. Over the years we have created a foodie-hub for the village that attracts regulars from the Wynyard estate, as well as visitors from further afield. All come to enjoy the top-quality food and warm friendly service that we deliver.
Having a chef as an owner means that we are very passionate about the food we serve. All our produce is locally sourced wherever possible, with no corners cut meaning that only the highest quality ingredients are used. Food is cooked to order by our team of chefs and is freshly prepared on-site and, because everything is done from scratch, we can cater to any dietary requirements*.
We’ve put our love of food and flavours into The Stables menu and, in addition to our usual extensive menu, we serve both daily and seasonal specials.

We are also famed for our amazing Cheesecake creations with a myriad of flavour fusions. Delights such as Chocolate Orange and Milkybar with an Oreo base, and Kinder Bueno with Hippo topper and Hobnob biscuit base – the taste combinations are endless!
All items, including our cheesecakes, can also be prepared as take-away options – perfect for a relaxing night in, in the comfort of your own home, enjoying fantastic chef-prepared food.
We are very proud of our fayre and how we prepare our dishes and have achieved a Food Hygiene Rating of 5.
